The Bulgarian African Chamber of Commerce (BACC) is pleased to announce that its Chairwoman, Ms. Albena Anyuat Jones, together with the Chamber’s Director of Trade Relations, Mr. Efaeval Joshua Jones, have been officially invited to participate in the South Sudan Agricultural Conference 2026. The invitation was extended by the Acting Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, the Honourable Lili Albino‑Akoll, through the Embassy of the Republic of South Sudan in Germany.
This year’s conference, held under the theme “Investing in AGRI‑Food Systems for Better Life in South Sudan,” will convene over 500 delegates from across the region and the international community. A central highlight of the event will be the attendance of H.E. Salva Kiir Mayardit, President of the Republic of South Sudan, whose presence underscores the national priority placed on agricultural transformation and long‑term food system resilience. Also participating will be members of the United Nations, alongside policymakers, investors, development partners, and agricultural experts.
Ms. Albena Anyuat Jones will join the conference as a panelist, contributing to discussions on the role of Cooperatives in strengthening agricultural productivity and community‑driven development. Her “Back‑to‑Basics” theory emphasizes collaboration, shared responsibility, and sustainable structures that empower local producers.
Mr. Efaeval Joshua Jones will represent the Chamber on the ground, engaging with South Sudanese institutions, private‑sector leaders, and international partners to explore opportunities for trade, investment, and knowledge exchange.
BACC’s participation reaffirms its commitment to fostering strategic cooperation between Bulgaria and African nations, supporting innovation, sustainable development, and long‑term economic partnerships.
